I am accepting new clients at this time. The best way to schedule is to contact me by phone at 802-793-4347.
I currently accept medical assistance and Blue Cross/Blue Shield. If you do not have insurance, please be in touch regarding my rates for uninsured clients. If you have a different insurance provider, several out-of-pocket options are available, including billing as an out-of-network provider or submission for reimbursement through your health reimbursement/health spending account (HRA/HSA.) I encourage you to contact your medical insurance or HRA/HSA provider for more details about their reimbursement policy for out-of-network providers.
If you are unsure if your insurance plan includes coverage for mental health or counseling services, you can call the member services number listed on your insurance card and ask what your coverage and out-of-pocket expenses would be. The following questions can help you understand what portion of your costs will be covered.
-Do I currently have coverage for outpatient mental health counseling?
-Do I have any copay or coinsurance that I am responsible for?
-Do I have any out-of-pocket deductible I have to meet? If so, are outpatient mental health counseling visits applicable to the deductible?
-Based on this information, can you give me a sense of what my out-of-pocket expenses would be if I were to visit a counselor?
If you lack converge and are a survivor of abuse or assault, you may also be able to receive services covered under the Victim Compensation Program of the Vermont Center for Crime Victim Services.
Fees and copays are due at the time of service, unless other arrangements have been made prior to our session. I am able to accept cash or check. If this fee proves to be a hardship for you, I do reserve some reduced-fee slots within my schedule.
